Charity begins at home but why not bring your good intentions to the workplace? At Rightio we believe hope, goodwill and sharing are not just seasonal but should come from within, regardless of what month it is.

We are proud to say our employees understand the value of empathy, and are always ready to help, and share with their community and the less fortunate. This year we took our fundraising efforts further than ever before and collected money and donations for a number of charity causes, all close to the heart of our employees.

We are proud to say in 2019 the Rightio family took part in:

The Big Fun Run - Birmingham

The Big Fun Run is a series of 5k untimed runs staged within scenic settings across the UK. The Birmingham one was on the 25thof August in Cannon Hill Park, and our Rightio Road Runners completed it in aid of Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

World's Biggest Coffee Morning took place on the 27thSeptember 2019, and our office was ready. We had our own mini-Bake Off, a Rightio Bake Sell and played some fun games, while fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support. The charity focuses on the individual and their personal battle, and provides tailored support so everyone can receive the support, which is best for them.

Wear It Pink

On the 18thof October we wore pink and raised money for lifesaving research, which can aid the battle with breast cancer. The vital research is working to discover how to prevent breast cancer, how to detect it earlier and how to treat it effectively at every stage so we can stop the disease taking lives.

PJ and Onesie Day

Going to work in your PJs and Onesies and for a good cause? On the 15thNovember we joined Pudsey Bear, wore our comftiest PJs, held our breath as the champion Beakwell Tart won the duck race, and collected donations for BBC Children In Need.

Elf Day

We took so many sELFies on Elf Day, wearing our best pointy ears, colourful tunics and elf slippers. It's easy being sELFless when it's for a good cause, such as fundraising for the Alzheimer's Society

Christmas Jumper Day

The Christmas Jumper Day is already a tradition at Rightio, and this year we chose to follow the sustainability plea and recycle our old jumpers, instead of buying new. We exchanged and borrowed jumpers, wore those hideous promotional ones, which never see the light of the day, and made sure every penny goes to Save the Children UK instead.

It was fun, it was for a good cause, and we're proud to say that our employees donated over £1450.00 to charity causes in 2019.

Our pledge for 2020 - to fundraise even more, and take part in more worthy causes.
