Rightio staff raise over £4000 in Birmingham run

Rightio staff members braved scorching temperatures to complete the SimplyHealth Birmingham 10k and raise over £4000 for Birmingham Children's Hospital.

The annual event, which took place on Sunday 6thMay, featured a record breaking number of 8000 competitors who ran to raise funds for charities and local causes.

All funds raised by Rightio will go towards supporting, caring for and curing the children who visit the Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Rightio competed against fellow Birmingham businesses and came away with the award for best male time for a medium sized business.

This was contributed to by Logistics Team Leader, Matt McCormack, who finished ahead of all his Rightio colleagues with a top time 53mins 14 seconds.

The Simplyhealth Great Birmingham 10K is expected to raise around £1.5 million for local and national charities with runners and walkers taking on the challenge to support a cause close to their heart.
