Rightio Company Charity of the Year - Birmingham Children's Hospital

At Rightio, we know all about coming to the rescue when homeowners need our help. But we want to do more than that - we want to do our bit in helping those less fortunate in our communities by fundraising for good causes.

With this in mind, we are pleased to announce Birmingham Children's Hospital as the Rightio Company Charity of the Year in 2016-2017. The whole business is going to be getting behind a great cause and raising some serious, life-changing funds! Not only this, but our staff will be making a difference on site at the Hospital through volunteering in the arts and crafts.

We see this as a great opportunity to get the power of the nationwide Rightio team raising funds for a nationwide charity that makes such a difference more than 250,000 patients each year. As a regional centre for trauma, with many national and four international specialisms, including epilepsy, complex heart conditions and burns, the Hospital's work is extensive and immensely valuable and we want to help it to keep doing just that.

Throughout the year there'll be company-wide fundraising drives as well as team members being encouraged to get creative and do what they can - from bake sales to sponsored head shaves - to get the pennies rolling in.

As a Birmingham-based business with a national impact, we wanted to support the charity because it's also Birmingham-based, but its facilities, staff and next-level research serves the need of those across the region, nation and globe every day.

"The incredible care that the staff provide to patients and their families is something we felt compelled to rally behind, so we will be making sure that we make this year worthwhile and have a jam packed plan for raising funds."
