Rightio visits Birmingham Children's Hospital

This week, Rightio took the opportunity to pay a visit to our friends at Birmingham Children's Hospital, our Company Charity of the Year in 2016-2017.

On one extremely chilly November afternoon (an effective reminder that Christmas is fast approaching), a team of enthusiastic volunteers from Rightio's friendly Acquisitions Department wrapped up warm and set off to Birmingham Children's Hospital. Armed with heaps of art supplies and festive cheer, the team met with the Hospital's super-creative young patients who shared their expertise by helping to design this year's Rightio Christmas card!The creativity quickly began to flow and stacks of fantastic drawings and pictures started piling up - Christmas trees, cheerful Santas and red-nosed reindeer, even a festive Sonic the Hedgehog - the design ideas flooded in! Everyone certainly got into the Christmas spirit.

It was wonderful meeting the patients and the hardworking staff who provide care for them each day. We all had such a great time sketching and colouring in with the kids, and now have so many fantastic Christmas card designs to choose from!

The work Birmingham Children's Hospital does is undeniably incredible and we're very pleased to lend a hand and support a cause which is so close to our hearts. Helping more than 250,000 patients each year, the Hospital makes a huge difference to the lives of children and families nationwide.

Rightio will continue to support Birmingham Children's Hospital all we can, and make great efforts in fundraising, volunteerism and awareness-spreading to help conserve such valuable, important work.
